Every time we hear the term “last news,” we feel the need urgently. Suddenly we start paying more attention. This is not uncommon for the human brain. Our brain reacts more quickly to unusual things or events than to normal events. Both visual and print media try to make the most of these two words, especially to attract the attention of the audience.
One of the main sources of this news is TV channels. Television channels are the primary means of transmitting such information from time to time. Usually this news appears in the tape when the news is not broadcast. During the hour of news, in addition to scrolling, the information transmitted as the latest news also receives more time and detailed reports. But some TV channels exaggerate the importance of the story and consider less important stories as major news. Sometimes, when there is nothing special to broadcast, some TV channels broadcast general events or reports as the latest news to attract the attention of viewers. The strategy may work for them in the short term, but in the long run they will almost certainly lose viewers. This will happen because they deceive their viewers by covering minor events marked as breaking news.
The Internet also has many websites offering such news. But is it possible to trust the reliability of news on these sites? Either way, they can’t be trusted. Only reputable websites provide real informative stories. Therefore, you need to know the features of a reputable news site to get informative information. There are also websites that provide real, informative stories, but don’t know how to pick the plot correctly to treat it as breaking news. These websites view almost every story as breaking news and thus confuse visitors. At some point, it is not easy for the website to draw the attention of visitors to the important news. This happens when visitors think they are being deceived and are offered general information in an exaggerated form. In this way, websites lose visitors.
So TV channels and websites should be sane when it comes to broadcasting information. They should not misinterpret the seriousness of the messages or mislead visitors. However, these news sources should focus on providing informative news and label only important news as “Breaking News”. If the media act professionally, the ultimate goal of bringing information to the masses can be achieved.
